Display

While all of them have a Full HD screen, the differences lie as far as their aspect ratios are concerned. The Mi A2 Lite comes with a notch-equipped which has an aspect ratio of 19:9, the Mi A2 has a more conservative 18:9 display and the Mi A1 features a standard old-school 16:9 screen.

Specifications

Xiaomi has reserved the majority of specification bumps for the pricier Mi A2. Therefore, you’d be hard-pressed to find differences between the Mi A2 Lite and Mi A1 hardware. For starters, both of them have a Snapdragon 625 processor, up to 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded through a MicroSD card slot, and 4GB of RAM. The Mi A2, on the contrary, is powered by a superior Snapdragon 660 chipset and offers a 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant as well.

Battery

The Mi A2 and the Mi A1 have a 3010mAh pack, whereas the Mi A2 Lite has a larger 4000mAh battery. However, the Mi A2 has an upper-hand with charging since it’s compatible with Quick Charge 3.0 and has a Type-C port instead of a MicroUSB one.

Cameras

The Mi A2 has the most powerful set of cameras of the three. On the rear, it has a primary 12-megapixel f/1.75 lens and another 20-megapixel snapper for depth-sensing. There’s a 20-megapixel lens for selfies as well. The Mi A1, on the other hand, has a 12-megapixel f/2.2 primary sensor and another 12-megapixel f/2.6 lens. On the front, it carries a 5-megapixel shooter. The Mi A2 Lite has a similar setup except for its secondary rear camera here is just a 5-megapixel snapper.
